Let's Duette! We are presenting an exciting collection of Coro's Duettes, cunningly engineered brooches that come apart into two matching clips. This Retro design is so chic, featuring two stylized lotus blossoms. The gold-tone flowers are enameled with deep oxblood details, with a sassy ribbon tied at the base. Red and white rhinestone accents add sparkle. Open the brooch's rollover pin, open the lotus' clips, and the dress clips come off the frame that holds them together. Dress clips are backed with a hinged clip (kind of like a bookmark) that fastens onto the edge of a piece of fabric, particularly the neckline of a vintage dress. This collectible Duette is marked "Coro Duette Pat.No. 1798867." Circa 1940.

Emanuel Cohn and Carl Rosenberger established the New York accessories boutique Coro in 1901. In 1929, Coro purchased a manufacturing facility in Providence, Rhode Island, which became the world's largest costume jewelry facility.
